Celebrating Research Impact: Gokcen Yilmaz’s Knowledge Exchange Award Nomination

Gokcen Yilmaz was recently nominated and shortlisted for a Knowledge Exchange Awards, taking place on 3 October 2024.

The awards celebrate the very best research partnerships with the University of Exeter on a regional, national and global scale.
Gokcen was one of just three nominees shortlisted under the ‘Bright Future Award: Early Career Research Impact’ category for her project on ‘Digital Transformation of the Built Environment’ in partnership with Natural Building Systems and Network Rail.

Each year, the University of Exeter acts as a partner on more than 2,000 projects across key sectors, so to be one of only 21 projects shortlisted overall is an amazing achievement. Congratulations Gokcen!
